Product Details
A component of developing jaw stability, dissociation, and grading is to teach symmetrical jaw strength at each jaw height position with this set of tools (six Graduated Bite Blocks). Standard co-articulation of all speech sounds involves the development of jaw stability, dissociation, and grading. When trying to build jaw stability by exercise, the tools are first used to identify jaw stability or instability. To ensure the effectiveness of this programme, read ALL of the directions before beginning.
Chew loops consist of two parts i.e. long biteable stem and a corrugated handle. Place the biteable stem inside the child's mouth laterally on the right or the left side for 10 seconds.
Instruct your child to bite the stem with molar gums for oral sensory stimulation. And ask your child to hold onto the loop with one or both hands.
Place the corrugated handle inside the child's mouth and ask your child to bite the tube for 10 seconds. Remove the loop.
Carefully repeat Steps 1 and 2 for 10 seconds each.. Then allow your child to hold the stem for 10-15 seconds. Repeat the same two times more.
This is an oral and sensory motor device designed for a resilient, non-food, chewable surface for practicing biting and chewing skills. They are made from safe and non-toxic materials.
