Speech therapy is a treatment method that targets one’s ability to talk and use language. It helps your child be articulate – that is clearly express their thoughts and ideas, as well understand others’. Your child will work with a speech-language pathologist (SLP) or speech therapist in addressing problem areas concerning speech and language – some children need help with talking and communicating while others need help with understanding and processing language better.
