Chewy Tubes are sensory aids created to stimulate oral motor function and aid people with sensory processing issues in honing their chewing abilities. Chewy Tubes are a great option for oral sensory input because they are made from safe, non-toxic materials and come in a variety of forms and textures to meet varied sensory needs. With the use of Chewy Tubes, you may teach children how to chew, a crucial oral motor skill for an OPT programme. The red, bulky- stemmed Chewy Tube is a therapeutic equipment used to strengthen the |aw during oral motor activities.

Chew loops consist of two parts i.e. long biteable stem and a corrugated handle. Place the biteable stem inside the child's mouth laterally on the right or the left side for 10 seconds.

Instruct your child to bite the stem with molar gums for oral sensory stimulation. And ask your child to hold onto the loop with one or both hands.

Place the corrugated handle inside the child's mouth and ask your child to bite the tube for 10 seconds. Remove the loop.

Carefully repeat Steps 1 and 2 for 10 seconds each.. Then allow your child to hold the stem for 10-15 seconds. Repeat the same two times more.
